Anti Ragging commitee/Cell

Anti-ragging Cell- In accordance with Supreme Court rulings, UGC guidelines, and State Government Instructions, Shri Balaji Degree College strictly adheres to a ‘Zero-Tolerance policy’ towards ragging. Any student found guilty of ragging will face severe consequences as per the law.

The Anti-Ragging Committee will act as the advisory and supervisory body to ensure a ragging-free environment on campus. It will be responsible for devising strategies to prevent ragging through various initiatives.

Aims & Objectives: To prevent and eliminate any ragging activities in the college and also to take proper action against those who are involved in them.
To specify suitable, model penalties for individuals found guilty.
To root out all its forms from the college, the institution cell will undertake various prohibition and prevention activities by following the different provisions of the Regulations of the Supreme Court, UGC, and College.
To organize timely student awareness programs.
